About the Program

The Pathway Project Corp. operates a Transitional Housing Placement Program for Nonminor Dependents (THP-NMD) using a remote-site housing model with apartment units located throughout the community.

Participants receive structured support focused on housing stability, employment, education, and life skills development in a supportive and accountable environment.

Founder & Program Development

The Pathway Project Corp. was developed through direct, hands-on experience working with young adults in foster care and behavioral health settings.

The program is led by a Master’s-level social work professional with experience in child welfare, crisis response, and housing coordination. Through this work, a consistent gap became clear. Young adults aging out of care often have no stable housing, limited job readiness, and little to no support system once they transition into adulthood.

Many are expected to function independently without the structure or resources needed to maintain stability. Housing is often temporary, support is inconsistent, and opportunities for long-term success are limited.
The Pathway Project Corp. was created to address this gap.

The program provides apartment-based housing combined with structured support, including case management, life skills development, employment and education support, and parenting support when applicable.

The program includes support for nonminor dependent parents, recognizing the additional responsibilities of parenting while transitioning into independent living.

The focus is to create a stable environment where young adults can build independence, maintain housing, and develop the skills necessary for long-term success.

This program is grounded in both professional training and real-world experience supporting youth and families navigating complex systems.
